My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. Despite the rooms not being serviced properly during our stay and the tired feel of the hotel, the cleanliness and modern bathrooms were impressive. The location, overlooking the beginning of Lake Windermere, was a highlight for exploring the area, though some areas felt lacking.
